What particles make up the atom? Give their charge and location

there are 3 particles in a atom. neutrons, electrons, and the protons. neutrons are neutral so they have no charge and is in the nucleus. electrons are negatively charged and is in the shells of the atom. 2 in the first shell and then 8 in the next one and so on. its 8 for every shell after the 2 btw. protons are positively charged and go in the nucleus with the neutrons. your welcome.
