x-intercept: Set y= 0 and find x. Then 2x^2-3x-20= 0. You must find the roots; there will be two real, unequal roots. The x-intercepts will look like (a,0) and (b,0), where a and be are your two real, unequal roots.

y-intercept: set x=0. Then 2(0)^2 - 3(0) - 20 = -20. The y-int. is (0,-20).
