How much energy is needed to increase the temperature of 755 g of iron from 283 K to 403 K?

We know that:
Q = m · C · ΔT

where:
Q = quantity of energy
m = mass = 755g
ΔT = difference in temperature = (403 - 283) K
C = specific heat capacity = 0.444 J/gK

Make sure you have all the correct units of measurement, and then calculate

Q = 755 · 0.444 · (403 - 283)
= 40226 J
