What are 3 possible ways the country would be different if there was only one branch and no system of checks and balances?

The power of one branch could be abusive and could not by check out by the other 2 branches. Country could turn in to a dictatorship. Country may end up in a different economic system. For example the dictator might change the economic system for a capitalist nation to a communist one
