The correct answer is overproduction

They all expanded more and more while the boom was ongoing and then they couldn't sell the goods because Europeans started recovering so they stopped paying their loans back to banks and eventually this helped establish the great depression. This is why laws to help people switch businesses were introduced and change what they were making.
