Please help me with this question please!!!!

The Empire State Building is 1454 ft tall and 424 feet long. You want to make a scale drawing of the building on an 8 ½ by 11 in. sheet of paper, and you decide to use the scale 1 in = 100 ft. Is this a reasonable scale? Explain..

For this case, the first thing we must do is use the given scale to find the new dimensions of the Empire State.
We have then:
1454/100 = 14.54 in
424/100 = 4.24 in
we observed that:
14.54> 11
Therefore, the scale is not reasonable because the drawing does not fit on the paper completely.

this is not a reasonable scale
