Tropical rainforests are found mainly within the equator. The climate in this latitudes is dominated by the doldrums (Intertropical Convergence Zone) low-pressure system all year round because of the all year round proximity to the sun. Therefore, the region has no natural seasons in terms of thermal and moisture changes.
