You could determine how many boxes will fit in the large container and multiply it by 16.
The large container will hold:
5 x 4 x 3 = 60 boxes
60 x 16 = 960
It will hold about 1,000 boxes.

The estimated volume would be 960 cu. in.
5 rows of 4 boxes would be 20 boxes in each layer. There 3 layers, so that makes 20(3) = 60 boxes. Each box has a volume of 16 cu. in.; 16(60) = 960 cu. in.
