To find the area of the given diagram use the formula:

A = 1/2(b1 + b2)(h)

b1 and b2 are the bases.

First we need to find the total length of the second base:

7 + 3 = 10

Now apply the formula:

A = 1/2(7 + 10)(6)
A = 1/2(17)(6)
A = 51 in²

Hope this helps :)

A = (6 x 7) + 1/2(6 x 3)
= 42 + 9
= 51
