Help!!

Solve the equation –x = 2 -3x + 3 and describe your steps.

-x = 2 - 3x + 3
- 3x -3x
__________________
2x=2+3
add like terms

2x=5
dived 5 from 2 to get 5/2 or 2.5

Combine like terms (2 and 3) and then add 3x to the other side, because when you move a negative to the other side it becomes a positive. You then would divide -3 from 5. Then you would have X= -1.67

-x = 2 -3x +3

-x = 5 -3x
+ 3x

-3x = 5
/ -3 /-3

X = -1.67
