Our right to bear arms was and original amendment in the constitution but is currently being challenged due to the world’s advancement in technology and their easy access. Events such as the Orlando Shoot and Sandy Hook can provoke stricter gun laws in the future.

Technology has always influenced legislation to some extent. However, this has become even more significant in recent years, as technology becomes more advanced and influential. For example, the rise of social media has led to questions regarding the right to privacy. Another example would be the way in which the internet has changed our definitions of freedom of speech.

It is very likely that other changes will be necessary in the future as technology continues to develop. One of the most important challenges will be the rise of artificial intelligence, as this plays with the limits between humans and technology, potentially redefining our conception of "rights."
