What are the solutions to 6x(second power 2)-5x-4=0

6x²-5x-4=0
x=(-b+/√b²-4ac)/2a

D=b²-4ac=25+4*6*4=121, √D=√121=11
x=(5+/-11)/12
x1=-6/12=-1/2
x2=16/12=4/3
