The value of x is 2.
To solve for each, we have to know the relationship between the segments of secants in this problem.
It can be written as the equation below:
3(3 + 5) = 4(4 + x)
3(8) = 16 + 4x
24 = 16 + 4x
8 = 4x
2 = x
