So all possible options equal 36, because the first die has 6 options, and the second has 6 options, and the two must be multiplied. The numbers that are possible below 6 are 2, 3, 4, and 5. for 2, there is only one possible combination, where both die equal 1. for 3, the options are 1&2, and 2&1. For 4, there are three options, 1&3, 2&2, 3&1. For 5, the options are 1&4, 2&3, 3&2, and 4&1. Add all these options together, (10), and divide it by 36. Remember to simplify!
