f(x)=3x+7 and g(x)=4x-2

a]
(f+g)(x)
=(3x+7)+(4x-2)
=3x+4x+7-2
=7x+5

b](f*g)(x)
=(3x+7)(4x-2)
=3x(4x-2)+7(4x-2)
=12x^2-6x+28x-14
=12x^2-22x-14

c]
f(g(x))
=3(4x-2)+6
=12x-6+7
=12x+1
