Common difference (d) = - 14-(-17)

d = -14+17
d = 3...

Tn = -17+(n-1)3

Tn = - 17+3(n-1)

Option a is correct.....

Answer:
a_n=-17+3(n-1)

Explanation:

Given : Arithmetic sequence : -17, -14, -11, -8, ...

Here the first term ,
a_1=-17

Common difference :
d=-14-(-17)=3

The formula to find the nth term is given by :-

a_n=a_1+d(n-1)

i.e.
a_n=-17+3(n-1)

Hence, the equation for the nth term of the arithmetic sequence :-

a_n=-17+3(n-1)
