Hello!
Possible outcomes on flipping 3 coins = 27
Probability of flipping 3 heads or HHH = 1/27
Probability of flipping 3 tails or TTT = 1/27
.
The outcome must be all head or tail so they will flip more than one.
Probability(HHH or TTT) = P(HHH) + P(TTT)
P(HHH or TTT) = 1/27 + 1/27
P(HHH or TTT) = 2/27
.
The answer is 2/27.

A coin is flipped. If a heads is flipped, then the coin is flipped 4 more times and the number of heads flipped is noted; otherwise (i.e., a tails is flipped on the initial flip), then the coin is flipped
