It is given that , length is 3 feet and width is 2 feet.

And we have to convert the area in square inches.

$1 feet =12 inches| therefore\\2feet = 2*12 inches = 24 inches\\3feet = 3*12 inches = 36 inches$

Area equals to the product of length and width, that is

Area = 24*36 in^2 = 864 inches^2

Therefore the required area in square inches is 864 square inches .
