Equation of a parabola in vertex form is y=(x-h)^2+k.

where (h,k) is the vertex.

6) The given equation is y=
-2x^(2)+2.

Comparing with vertex form of parabola equation we have:

This has a vertex of (0,2)

Graph A has the same vertex (0,2)

7) Given equation y=
-x^(2)

As there is a - sign so parabola will open down and vertex is (0,0)

Graph D is the right graph.

8) Given equation is : y=2
x^(2).

The vertex is (0,0) and parabola will open up.

Graph C represents the same.

9) The given equation is :y=3
x^(2).-4 Its vertex is (0,-4)

THis graph is B .
