Hello!

To find the volume with a known mass and known density:

⇒ must consider the relationship between all three of the variables:

\hookrightarrow \text{Mass = volume * density}

Let's write down all that we know:

  • Mass: 39g
  • Density: 3g/ml

Let's plug these into our equation:

\text{Mass = volume * density}\\39\text{g} = \text{volume } *3\text{g/ml}\\\\ \text{volume} = \frac{39\text{g}}{3\text{g/ml}} \\\\\text{volume}=13\text{ml}

Answer: 13 ml

Hope that helps!
