A baker has a container with 1 4 pound of blueberries. The baker wants to use an equal amount of blueberries on 8 desserts. How many blueberries will the baker use on each dessert? Alex solves the problem by finding 1 4 ÷ 8 . Which shows another way to solve the problem?

Answer: 1/4 divided by 1/8 is the answer.

Another way to solve the problem would be 1/4 * 1/8.

1/4 * 1/8 = 1/32, so the baker will use 1/32 pounds of blueberries in each dessert.
