Hey there :)
2a²b + 6ab²
Let us go step by step.
The common multiple between both is 2
2 x 1 = 2
2 x 3 = 6
The common variables are a and b, not a² and b² because both values do not have it
Therefore
2ab ( a + 3b ) is the factor
