y2 - y1 / x2 - x1

y2 = 8
y 1 = 0

x2 = 7
y2 = -5

8-0 = 8

7- (-5) = 12

8/12 = 2/3

The slope is 2/3.

Hope this helped☺☺

y2 = y-axis on the 2nd coordinate.
y1 = y-axis on the 1st coordinate

x2 = x-axis on the 2nd coordinate.
x1 = x-axis on the 1st coordinate

slope = Y2-Y1 / X2-X1

slope = 8 -0 / 7 - -5 = 8/12 = 2/3

slope = 2/3
