For every 1/3 cup of honey, we need 1/2 cup of cream.

Since 3 times of 1/3 cup will make a 1 while cups, we multiply the ratio above by 3.

1 cup of honey will need 1/2 x 3 cups of cream.

1/2 x 3 = 3/2 = 1 1/2 cups

So 1 cup of honey will need 1/2 cup of cream.

To answer the next part, we start again from the original ratio given.

For every 1/2 cup of cream, we need 1/3 cup of honey.

We need to find 9/2 cups of cream. 9/2 cups is 9 times of 1/2 cup. So we multiply the ratio above by 9.

9/2 cups of cream will need 1/3 x 9 cups of honey.

1/3 x 9 = 3

So 9/2 cups of cream need 3 cups of honey.
