At a intersection if the light is green, the pedestrians should yield to the vehicles. If the lights are red , vehicles must yield to pedestrians... For the most part you will always yield to pedestrians crossing the road.

Answer:

The driver must assign the right of way to the pedestrian whenever the pedestrian is in the exclusive pedestrian zone, the crosswalk .

Step-by-step explanation:

Pedestrians are the most fragile part of traffic. Drivers should take care of pedestrians all the way, taking care not to reach them. Ideally, drivers should give pedestrians the right of way whenever they show their intention to cross the road, however, it is an obligation for drivers to give pedestrians the right of way when pedestrians are in the pedestrian lane, the crosswalk.
