Answer:

a) Length = 0.215 meter, width= 0.065 meter, height= 0.1025 meter.

b) The volume of the brick = 0.0014324375 meter^3.

c) Density of the brick = 1954.71007 kg/m^3.

Step-by-step explanation:

a) As we know 1 meter = 1000 millimeters.

In other words, we can say a millimeter is a unit of length equal to one thousand a meter.

So, to convert, we have to divide the given numbers by 1000.

and we get :

Length = 215/1000 = 0.215 meter,

width= 65/1000 = 0.065 meter,

height= 102.5/1000 = 0.1025 meter.

b) It is known that a brick has the shape of a rectangle. And formula to calculate the volume of a rectangle is as follows.

Volume of rectangle = length × height × width

Since, it is given that length is 0.215 meter , height is 0.1025 meter and width is 0.065 meter . Therefore, calculate the volume of brick as follows.

Volume of brick = length × height × width

= 0.215 m × 0.1025 m × 0.1025 m

= 0.0014324375 meter^3

Hence, we can conclude that volume of the brick is 0.0014324375 meter^3 .

c) using the formula

ρ = m/V

ρ stands for DENSITY!

2.8 kilogram/ 0.0014324375 cubic meter (/=divided by....)

gives you the answer of 1954.71007 kg/m^3.
