Mr. and Mrs. North joined a local fitness club. The club charges each member a $25.00 registration fee and a monthly membership fee. They were billed a total of $500.00 for two 12-month memberships.

How much is the club's monthly membership fee?

First you subtract double the registration fee from the total and then divide by 24
You get 500-50= 450
450/24=18.75
Hope this helped

Answer:

$18.75

Explanation:

Mr. and Mrs. North joined a local fitness club.

Membership registration fee = $25.00

They were billed a total 500.00 for two 12-month membership.

Monthly fee of the club =
((500/2)-25)/(12)

=
(250-25)/(12)

=
(225)/(12)

= $18.75

Club's monthly membership fee is $18.75.
