Solve the single variable equation for n.

4(-n + 4) + 2n = 2n

4(-n + 4) + 2n = 2n
-4n + 16 + 2n = 2n
-4n + 16 = 0
-4n = -16
n = 4

a. n = 4

plug in 4 for the n in both side and see do they equal then try one more number like 3 for n then if that one also lead to each side being equal then your ANSWER would be C if not then your ANSWER would be A and if it didnt equalled on both side by either number than it would be B
