Aside from plays Henrik Ibsen wrote poetry.
Ibsen was a Norwegian playwright, director, and poet. He is considered one of the founders of Modernism and referred to as "the father of realism". He is know for various works including, Brand, Peer Gynt, An Enemy of the People, Emperor and Galilean, A Doll's House, Hedda Gabler, Ghosts. In his works Henrik aimed to reveal the reality although his poetic play Peer Gynt had many surreal components.
