Write out the balanced equation for the reaction that occurs when Ca and Al(NO3)3 react together. You do not need to make your subscripts smaller; just write them out as regular numbers. For example: Al(NO3)3. (4 points)

Answer : The balanced chemical reaction will be,

3Ca+2Al(NO3)3\rightarrow 3Ca(NO3)2+2Al

Explanation :

Balanced chemical reaction : It is defined as the reaction in which the number of atoms of individual elements present on reactant side must be equal to the product side.

If the amount of atoms of each type on the left and right sides of a reaction differs then to balance the equation by adding coefficient in the front of the elements or molecule or compound in the chemical equation.

The coefficient tell us about that how many molecules or atoms present in the chemical equation.

As per question, when calcium react with aluminium nitrate then it react to give calcium nitrate and aluminium as a product.

The balanced chemical reaction will be,

3Ca+2Al(NO3)3\rightarrow 3Ca(NO3)2+2Al
