Jackie went to a party with Rosa. Rosa drove but then used inhalants at the party. She is not safe to drive. As the party dies down, she tells Jackie that it's time to go. Which is the best example of assertive refusal Jackie could use to keep herself safe? A. Jackie looks away and says no every time Rosa tells her to get in the car. Jackie tells her she still wants to stay at the party. B. Jackie looks away and firmly says no at first, but later she gets in the car and lets Rosa drive her home. C. Jackie stands up straight and shakes her head, but then she gets in the car and lets Rosa drive her home anyway. D. Jackie stands up straight, shakes her head, and firmly says no. She then calls her older brother to pick her up.

D because it shows that Jackie is strong in what she thinks and isn’t scared to say something to someone when she is uncomfortable

I believe that D would be the best choice. It shows that Jackie is being serious about her decision, as well as gives a solution to the problem by offering someone else to drive them home.
