vincent is tracking the amount of snowfall in his hometown. He noticed that on a very snowy day it snowed 5 2/5 inches in two days. If the amount of snow is proportional to the number of days. How much snowfall will there be per day ?

First, there are two ways to solve this. Make a decimal, or turn it into an improper fraction.

Or you can group.

The improper fraction form of this is 27/5.

Decimal form is 5.4.

5.4/2=2.7

2.7 in fraction form is 2 7/10
