Thia book is based from the "Odyssey" by Homer. Penelope is the wife of Odysseus. Their struggles are similar because both show kindness, faith, and patience. Even though that at a point the Odysseus was away from Penelope, stayed faithful and kind. Penelope showed patience by awaiting his return.

I hope this helps!

Answer:

In “The Odyssey” by Homer, Penelope’s and Odysseus’s struggles are similar in some ways. First of all, they love each other. This complicates their lives since they are separated from each other and cannot be together. Lastly, they are trying to reunite by using their wisdom. He was trying to come back and she was loyal to him by refusing to get married to any of her suitors.
