Construct a sequence of events that describes how the nucleus of eukaryotic cells controls the process of cell specialization

Nucleus houses are the cells genetic materials. Eukaryotic DNA never leaves the nucleus. Instead of moving, it transcribes to RNA molecules which then travels out of the nucleus. Some RNA in the cytosol associates with structures which refers as ribosomes. The work of ribosome is to directly synthesis proteins.

A gel-like substance known as nucleoplasm. Nuclear envelope contains two layers of membrane namely an inner membrane and an outer membrane. The two membranes each contains two layers of phospholipids. They have an appropriately arranged that their tails point inward.

Nuclear envelope where the space between the two layers which connects to the interior of another membraneous organelle which has small channels that span it and lets substance exit and enter the nucleus. Each channel lines by a group of proteins known as nuclear pore complex and it controls the type of molecules that go out and come in.

The cell receives external signaling from other cells that induce second messengers that reach the nucleus.

Based on the signal, the nucleus methylates particular regions of the DNA so that they have a high affinity to histone complexes.

This causes these regions to be folded around the histones hence deactivating the genes in these regions.

Other regions of the DNA continue to be transcribed or even highly transcribed, hence allow the cell to produce particular types of proteins. These proteins are responsible for the specialization of the cell.
