When the car came out in the 1950's they were cheaper than before. Before cars were expensive to buy and not everyone could afford them but when they dropped the price of purchase cars were selling like Hot cakes man.

Hello,

The answer is "easier transportation".

Reason:

Since there were machines that can drive people with ease over the country it would be easier and less longer to take to get to one place to another therefore the answer is easier transportation.

If you need anymore help feel free to ask me!

Hope this helps!
