Hello!
2 1/2 = 2.5
2/5 = 0.4
so,
0.4 cups of flour needs 2.5 cups of sugar
1 flour cup needs 2.5/0.4 sugar ,i.e., 6.25 cups of sugar
6.25 = 25/4 = 6 1/4
1 cup of flour needs 6 1/4 cups of sugar
Hope this helps!
