Presently, we have one of the lowest sea levels in Earth's recorded history. In other words, we are in an oceanic high-stand and the continents are mostly emergent.

Answer: Option B

Step-by-step explanation:

The main reason for the lowest sea levels is the increasing pollution and the impact of greenhouse gas emissions. The level of oceans has not been rising because of global warming.

The oceans basins are deepening and therefore the melting ice or glaciers have no impact on the sea water level which remains low. This is one of the major reasons why continents are emergent and more and more land is getting exposed.

Presently, we have one of the lowest sea levels in Earth's recorded history. In other words, we are in an oceanic highstand and the continents are mostly emergent.

This happened when the pH level of the sea drops below its sedimentation rate which resulted to flooding and build up of composite surface.
