I believe that the answer would be 1, 2, and 3. The other two just don't make sense with the whole camouflage thing. Hope that this helps!

Answer:

1.The brown color camouflages the arctic fox when snow melts during the summer.

2.The white color camouflages the arctic fox during the winter.

3.The brown color camouflages the brown fox in the forest.

Step-by-step explanation:

  • Arctic fox can survive better by camouflaging.
  • Camouflaging is a way of surviving better by mixing in with the background so that the predator is not able to spot the organism easily.
  • In the snow-covered region, the arctic fox becomes white so that he can merge with the white background but as the snow melts, the white fur won't help so he has brown fur.
  • Similarly, in the forests, the arctic fox cannto be white as it would be easily spotted so it has brown fur to camouflage.
