Biotechnology
Biotechnology is the use of living systems and organisms to develop or make products that improve our lives and the health of our planet. The wide concept of "biotech" or "biotechnology" involves an extensive variety of procedures for modifying living organisms according to human purposes. For example, the domestication of animals and cultivation of plants, improving these through breeding programs which uses artificial selection and hybridization. For many years now, it has been used in many fields like agriculture, food production and medicine.
