There are 3,542 books of the same thickness and weight in a room. The room has 321 shelves. If the books are split evenly among the shelves, how many books will be on each shelf, and how many will be left over?

Unless I'm missing something, all we have to do is simplify the fraction:

3542/321

which is:

11 and 11/321

So there will be 11 books on each shelf and 11 left over.
