Answer:

if f(-4) = -31

then

f(-2) = -7

f(0) = 1

f(1) = -1

f(3) = -17

Explanation:

You have to replace the x of the f(x) equation with said number in the left column. Then plug it into your calculator and your golden :]

ANSWER

x = -4

f(x) = -2x²+1

= -2(-4)²+1

= -32+1

= -31

x = -2

f(x) = -2x²+1

= -2(-2)²+1

= -2(4)+1

= -8+1

= -7

x = 0

f(x) = -2x²+1

= -2(0)²+1

= -2(0)+1

= 0+1

= 1

x = 1

f(x) = -2x²+1

= -2(1)²+1

= -2(1)+1

= -2+1

= -1

x = 3

f(x) = -2x²+1

= -2(3)²+1

= -2(9)+1

= -18+1

= -17
