Explain why the slope of a vertical line is referred to as undefined

A vertical line is a line that has a fixed X axis. Slope is a measure of changes on the X and Y axis. You can't measure the change in X and Y values if your X isn't changing at all.

Answer: The run of a vertical line is zero, and you can’t divide it by Zero.
