1. x = -5/2
y = 100

25x +10y = 1000 a. Subtract 25x from both sides
-25x -25x

10y = -25x +1000 b. Divide both sides by 10
÷10 ÷10

y = -5/2x +100

2. x = -2/5
y = +7

m = slope x= = slope therefore m = x
When it asks for y, it's referring to the y-intercept (expressed as b)
