A soccer coach is ordering jerseys for members of the soccer team and can choose between small, medium, and large jerseys. The cost of a small jersey is x dollars. The cost of a medium jersey is 3 dollars more than the small jersey, and the cost of a large jersey is 5 dollars more than the medium jersey.

The coach orders 5 medium jerseys and 6 large jerseys for a total cost of $100. Find the cost, in dollars, of one small jersey.

This is because 3x5= 15 and 5x6= 30

You need to at 15 because of the first multiplication problem 3x5 which = 15

Which will be 45 and in the word problem it stayed the large was 5 dollars more then the medium and the medium was 3 dollars more then the small
