Hello there!

To write a quadratic trinomial with given solutions, just write two linear factors that equal to solutions when set equal to zero then multiply it out!

We are given -2 and 5/3 as solutions for the quadratic function so we can set up factors like this: (x+2)(3x-5). Now we need to multiply this out...
(x+2)(3x-5)
3x²-5x+6x-10
3x²+x-10

y=3x²+x-10 is the answer to your question!
