An environmental cue or event whose significance is learned is referred to as a "conditioned stimulus".
Conditioned stimulus refers to a part of the learning theory Classical Conditioning, in which conditioned stimulus is a neutral boost that triggers a type of reaction when combined or connected with an unconditioned stimulus. The reaction activated at that point is alluded to as conditioned response.
