Corresponding angles : 1 & 5 , 2 & 6 , 4 & 7 , 3 & 8 .

Alternate interior angles : 4 & 6 , 3 & 5

Alternate exterior angles : 1 &8 , 2 & 7

Consecutive interior angles : 4 & 5, 3 & 6

Explanation:

  • The corresponding angles are the angles that are in the same position made by a line cutting through two or more other lines.
  • The alternate interior angles are a pair of angles on the inner side of each of those two lines but on opposite sides of the transversal.
  • The alternate exterior angles are a pair of angles on the outer side of each of those two lines but on opposite sides of the transversal.
  • The consecutive interior angles are the pair of angles which are formed on one side of the transversal when two lines are intersected by transversal line .

By using the above definitions,

Corresponding angles : 1 & 5 , 2 & 6 , 4 & 7 , 3 & 8 .

Alternate interior angles : 4 & 6 , 3 & 5

Alternate exterior angles : 1 &8 , 2 & 7
