The perimeter of the rectangle is by definition:
P = 2W + 2L
Where,
W: width
L: long
We have then:
P = 2 (5.5 * 6) +2 (5.5 * 8)
P = 154 cm

The area of the rectangle is by definition:
A = (W) * (L)
Where,
W: width
L: long
We have then:
A = (5.5 * 6) * (5.5 * 8)
A = 1452 cm ^ 2

Answer:
Perimeter = 154 cm, area = 1,452 cm2
