Answer:

z+1 , 6 + w and
2x^(4)+4 are polynomials.

Explanation:

Given : Expressions.

To find: Which expressions are polynomials.

Solution : We have given expression

Polynomial : A polynomial is an expression consisting of variables and coefficients, that involves only the operations of addition, subtraction, multiplication, and non-negative integer.

So, z + 1 having variable z and contact 1 so, it is a polynomial.

6 + w is also a polynomial.

2x^(4)+4 is also a polynomial that has degree 4 .

But expression
y^(2)-\sqrt[1]{y}+4 is not a polynomial because it has fractional exponent.

Therefore, z+1 , 6 + w and
2x^(4)+4 are polynomials.

A polynomial must have non-negative integer exponents on the variables.

All are polynomials except the first.
