Students on the CARE Team are selling puppies, yes, puppies! They earn $0.40 on each puppy they sell. Their goal is to earn more than $327. Choose the inequality to find the fewest number of puppies they can sell and still reach their goal. Also indicate what that number would be.

0.4 x >= 327 Divide by 0.4
x >= 327/0.4 which is not going to be an even number.
x >= 817. 5 puppies. So they need to sell 0.5 more puppies. Better round this quickly before someone decides to do something stupid to get the extra 1/2 puppy. For us it's simple. Just add a 1/2 puppy more.

x >= 818 puppies <<<<==== answer.
